The hardest part of writing a blog is starting a blog.

Today is Thanksgiving–a providential day for a new undertaking.

I’ve been writing about Islamic/Judaic commonality for several years. First I wrote academically as part of my research at the University of San Francisco. Then I moved to NY and started writing personal observations about my Islamic experiences in the ‘burbs.

Now after more than four years of noting, coding, journaling, and analyzing, I’ve decided to go public with my aha moments about connections between Judaism and Islam.

If I’m lucky, you’ll find the similarities as intriguing as I do. If I’m really lucky, you’ll feel inspired to comment and contribute to what happens in this space.

For the opportunity to share this journey, I am truly thankful.
